With the Sustainable Futures Innovation Alliance, we are launching a new initiative that connects the potential of the African diaspora in Europe with young talents and entrepreneurs in Ghana.
Together with the University of Cape Coast, our AiDiA teammates Leonard Konrad-Adomako and Britney Nyantakyi successfully held the official kick-off event. Two intense and inspiring days filled with exchange, innovation, and a shared vision for sustainable impact. This event marked the beginning of a powerful collaboration for a future-oriented project.
👉 The initiative is funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH.
🌍 Our Vision
We aim to foster an international innovation ecosystem that drives entrepreneurial solutions to global challenges such as climate change, youth unemployment and resource scarcity, while actively involving the African diaspora.
🔧 What we’re building:
✔️ An open curriculum for sustainable entrepreneurship
✔️ A network of experts to optimize resource-conscious business models
✔️ A digital platform for learning and cross-continental exchange
✔️ Training program for local multipliers
📍 Why Ghana?
Ghana offers a unique combination of natural wealth, cultural diversity, and entrepreneurial energy. Many regions still face ecological and economic challenges. Coastal areas like Cape Coast are particularly affected by climate change but also offer tremendous potential for innovative approaches in food security, energy access, and sustainable resource use.
Through the Sustainable Futures Innovation Alliance, we are creating new opportunities for young people. We foster connections, education, digital access, and the development of resilient, future-proof business models.
